Who is the Primary Chess School for
intended?

The programme is aimed at students who already know the rules of chess and have completed the beginners' programme or have basic chess knowledge. It is suitable for children who want to deepen their understanding of the game, as well as for those who are already thinking about tournaments or have already participated in them. Students can attend once or twice a week, depending on their motivation, abilities and goals.

Carefully designed
Programmes

The Basic Chess School introduces a systematic study of chess theory: openings, tactics, strategy and endgames. What is learnt is put into practice in the game, and by analysing the games, the pupils build on their understanding of the game and develop self-reflection. Special emphasis is placed on self-initiative, learning from mistakes and psychological preparation. The programme offers comprehensive support for children who are just thinking about competing, as well as those who are already competing in tournaments at home and abroad. The professional guidance is provided by international master Toni Kos, who uses his knowledge and years of experience to guide young chess players to outstanding results. In recent years, his protégés have achieved top successes in domestic and international competitions, which confirms the quality of his work and dedication to chess. Our goal is not only a better result, but above all a stronger chess player - and a more confident child.
