For those who still want more

10+ YEARS

Intensive Weekend Training - For the most enthusiastic chess players

Intensive weekend training sessions are for students who want more - more knowledge, more play, more progress. They take place on the second Saturday and Sunday of every month and are also open to chess players from all over Slovenia who do not attend our school during the week. The weekends are designed as in-depth chess sessions with analysis, training and practice.

Where talent gets Direction

An academy where knowledge is transformed into strategy, discipline into progress and effort into results.

The Chess Academy is the highest level of chess education in our school. It is intended for young people who want to improve their game and gradually move towards competitive chess.

The Academy brings together children with good knowledge and those with the will and motivation to progress. In a stimulating environment, they develop a deeper understanding of the game and build the foundations for long-term development.

The programme is divided into an Intermediate Chess School for advanced players, and a Higher Chess School for those with experience, dedication and clear competitive goals.

Why a chess school is the right choice for your child?

Chess increases concentration, creativity - and helps your child think with his or her head.

Carefully designed
Programmes

The Chess Academy is the highest level of our education system and the natural choice for children who have been practising chess for many years and want to deepen, improve and effectively transfer their game to a competitive environment.

The programme is led by Grandmaster Matej Šebenik, one of Slovenia's most experienced chess players and coaches, who is responsible for the professional design, guidance and long-term vision of the programme. International Master Toni Kos, an established trainer of young talents, also participates in the implementation and his presence and expertise significantly shapes the content of the work.

The training sessions are more demanding and structured - they include analysis of games, study of difficult positions, development of independent thinking, and preparation for competitions at junior and member level. The programme is divided into high school and college, depending on the level of knowledge, experience and goals of the individual.
