The Chess Room is aimed at pre-school children, or those with no prior knowledge of chess.

Once a week, for one school lesson, children will be introduced to the world of chess in a way that suits them, starting with the pure basics.

Programmes

Through entertaining demonstrations and didactic games, children will learn the basic concepts, rules and objective of the game, how the pieces work and their properties.

Once they have mastered the basics, they will be able to take on the exciting challenges of chess through the game. In doing so, they will develop concentration, focus and problem-solving skills that will benefit them in other areas.

The group is for kindergarten children and will be led by the teacher Nika, who is looking forward to seeing you!
