Team DP U12 in Accelerated Chess and DP in Rapid Disciplines for Cadets and Juniors

The competitions are organised in cooperation and under the auspices of the Chess Federation of Slovenia, the Ljubljana Municipality and the Mirana Jarc Primary School.

The event will take place on Sunday, 22 February 2026, at the Mirana Jarc Primary School (Ipavčeva ulica 1, 1000 Ljubljana).

The national championships will be held in six separate competitions:

• juniors up to 20 years (born 2006 and younger),
• junior women under 20 (born 2006 and younger),
• Cadets U16 (born 2010 and younger),
• Cadettes U16 (born 2010 and younger).
• Boys up to 12 years (born 2014 and younger),
• Girls up to 12 years (born 2014 and younger).

Timely registrations are required, Applications must contain the basic team line-up and are collected exclusively via the online portal of the Chess Federation of Slovenia (applications without a competition licence for 2026 will not be possible):

Competition Schedule - Sunday, 22 February 2026

Team championships in rapid chess (cadets and juniors; cadettes and juniors):

- Confirmation of team entries at the referee's table by 9.15, opening of the championship and the first round at 9.30, other rounds to follow.

- The results will be announced 5 minutes after the last round.

- Lunch break at the Bežigrad Student Residence (8 minutes' walk from the games hall).

Accelerated Chess Team Championships (cadets and juniors; cadettes and juniors):

- Confirmation of team entries at the referee's table by 13:30, opening of the championship and first round at 14:00, other rounds to follow.

- The results will be announced 5 minutes after the last round.

Team championship U12 in accelerated chess (girls and boys):

- Confirmation of entries from 9.30 to 10.15 (latecomers will be included in the next round); Opening Ceremony

Championship and first round at 10.30, other rounds will be played as follows.

- There will be a lunch break after the 4th round. Organised lunch will be available at the Bežigrad Student Residence at a price of 12€/person. The location of the lunch is 600 m away from the playing hall.

- The results will be announced and prizes awarded 5 minutes after the last round.

Log in and payment: entries will be considered and valid only if the entry fee for the Championship is paid by the due date (16.2.2026) in the amount of:

- € 25 for cadet and junior teams and boys' teams up to 12 years,

- 20 € for cadet and junior teams and girls' teams up to 12 years,

- for late entries, the entry fee will be increased by € 10,

- 12 € lunch (only for players and accompanying persons who order lunch by 16.2.2026)
