The tournament is organised by Brainiac64 in cooperation with Tajfun-ŠK Ljubljana.

Two different tournaments are played

• 10.00 – 13.30 - U10 tournament (2015 and younger)

• 15.00 – 18.30 - U15 tournament (2010 and younger)

Playing time for both tournaments is 10 minutes + 5 seconds/pot for each player-one per game, 7 rounds according to the Swiss system.

Festival programme - Saturday, 29 November 2025

• 09.30 - Confirmation of entries (morning tournament)

• 10.00 - Opening, followed by Round 1 - U10 Children's Tournament

• 11.00 - mini side event for parents and chaperones (chess quiz)

• 13.30 - announcement of results and prize-giving 15 minutes after the last round

• 14.30 - Confirmation of entries (afternoon tournament)

• 15.00 - opening, followed by Round 1 - U15 Children's Tournament

• 16.00 - mini side event for parents and chaperones (chess quiz)

• 18.30 - announcement of results and prize-giving 15 minutes after the last round

Registration fee

• 8 € for members of Tajfun-ŠK Ljubljana

• 12 € for non-members

• 15 € entries and payments in cash on the day of the competition

Special offer: discount on single purchase of registration fees for the whole cycle:

• 50 € for members of Tajfun-ŠK Ljubljana

• 75 € for non-members

Entry fee includes juice and croissant.

Payment details:
The application fee shall be paid no later than 27. 11. 2025 to TRR:
SI56 6000 0000 1430 142 (Brainiac64 d.o.o., Čebelarska ulica 20B, 1000 Ljubljana), account opened with LON d.d., Kranj.

Subsequent payments can only be made on the day of the competition in cash.

Prizes

Medals and practical prizes for the best in each tournament.
At the end of the cycle:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place: 3 months free attendance at the chess school
• Trophy for the overall winner
• Nice practical prizes
