National championships for U12 and U15

Yesterday in Kranj, at the Matije Čopa Primary School, organised by ŠD Tomo Zupan, held Primary School National Championships in categories up to 12 years and up to 15 years.
Our juniors did well in both age groups - in boys we won the national championship in both categories, while Ema Jakša in the girls' competition silver medal.

The medals were also awarded by class (official part from 12 to 15 years). In the girls' group from 5th to 7th grade Ema Jakša won the gold medal, in the boys' group our David Krstić won the gold medal ahead of his club teammate Leonard Belyaletdinov. In the boys' group from 8th to 9th grade of primary school, Bor Žužek won ahead of our member Ognjen Mihajlovič and Jakob Kelbl.


Boys up to 12 years

The national primary school champion is Jan Verbič with the result 7,5/9.
Second place went to another member of our team, Maksim Kranjc, and third place went to Alexander Konopatsky from Maribor.

The other countries in the top 10 are:

  • Matic Levačič (4th place)

  • Jakob Kranjc (5th place)

  • Nikita Kartashov (8th place)

  • Maks Levačić (9th place)

The success was complemented by:

  • Kris Tomšič (12th place)

  • Tristan Kamenšek (13th place)

  • Ian Hao Pan (18th place)

Boys up to 15 years

The national primary school champion is David Krstic with the result 8/9.
Second place went to Bor Žužek, and the third one is another young member of our team Leonard Belyaletdinov, confirming our boys' complete dominance.

Just below the podium with a great game was Ognjen Mihajlovič, Jakob Kovačič and finished the competition on 11th place.

Girls up to 12 years

With impeccable proceeds 9/9 is celebrated Mara Predin from Maribor.
Second place went to Zarja Gomboši, and the third Taraja Celčar.

Girls up to 15 years

National champion with a perfect score 9/9 has become Anja Beber.
The silver medal is awarded with a score of 8/9 won by Ema Jakša, and third place went to To Sofia Timagini.
