Who is Chess for Everyone
Meant for?

The afternoon session is for adults who want to relax their minds, sharpen their concentration and learn new chess strategies in a pleasant atmosphere. The programme is divided into two levels - beginner and advanced, so it is suitable for both new players and those with more experience.

Carefully designed
Programmes

The programmes are led by Grandmaster Matej Šebenik, a multiple national champion and long-time member of the Slovenian chess team. He has competed for Slovenia at eight Olympiads and seven European Championships and won a gold medal at the Team Championships in Novi Sad. He graduated in journalism from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana. He has been coaching since 2012 and led the national youth team from 2014 to 2025. In his work, he promotes the progress of each individual and the joy of the game.
