Special offer for Slovenian chess players - Bled Chess Festival 2026

In March 2026, Bled will once again be a chess town. For the first edition of the festival, the organisers are particularly keen to attract people to co-create a new chess story. Slovenian chess players and host you at one the most beautiful venues in Europe.

To this end, we are opening up the Chess Open for all Slovenian chess players the possibility to enter the main tournament exclusively with a special discounted entry fee.

The regular entry fee for the main tournament is 130 €, which is available at an exclusive offer for domestic chess enthusiasts until 31 January 2026:

- Slovenian chess players: 90 €
- Club players Tajfun-ŠK Ljubljana: 70 €

Pre-registrations for the main tournament until 31.1.2026 via email: bled@chess-festival.com . After that date, regular prices will apply again.

The registration fee for the main tournament at a reduced price can be paid no later than 9.2.2026 to the account of the Ljubljana Chess Club, Glavarjeva 16, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia; IBAN: SI56 6100 0002 6825 115 (Delavska hranilnica d.d., BIC of the bank SWIFT code: HDELSI22), with the following purpose: main tournament - chess player's name and surname.

It's a week of play, reflection, socialising and grandmaster inspiration - by Lake Bled, in an environment where chess is harmoniously combined with the beauty of nature, the history of the place and the peaceful rhythm of the Alpine ambience.
