Dragons 2025 Chess Tournament

9:00-18:00 - Ploščpad of the Museum of Contemporary and Modern History of Slovenia (Celovška cesta 23, Ljubljana)

As part of the 3rd Ljubljana Festival of Sport, a chess tournament for all chess lovers will be organised on Saturday, 6 September 2025 at 10:00 on the platform of the Museum of Contemporary and Modern History of Slovenia (Celovška cesta 23, Ljubljana).

The tournament will be played according to the Swiss system, 7 rounds, 8 min + 5 sec/turn. Entries will be accepted until 5 September at sah.ljubljana@gmail.com. There is no registration fee.

Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers. The chess activities on this day will take place from 9 am to 6 pm.

You can expect an enjoyable and informative interaction with our team throughout the day. You will learn all about enrolment in the 2025/2026 Chess School, compete in various chess challenges and see a photo exhibition celebrating the 90th anniversary of the CHS. There are also nice promotional prizes waiting for you.
