Kasparov Academy Chess Camp

A programme for those who want to make serious chess progress under the guidance of the best. The camp is led by a Grandmaster Adrijan Mihaljčišin with a team of top-class coaches. The coaching staff will also include coaches from ŠK Ljubljana; Toni Kos, Nika Lapornik and James Tomazin.

  • Content: Intensive chess training, adapted to age and skill level, complemented by football and sports.

    - Chess training sessions with grandmasters and top coaches

    - Drumming course with Marko Soršak – Sokij
    - Sports demonstrations

    - Healthy living workshops
    - Motivational workshops

  • Additional offer: There is the option of an organised trip to Zagreb, where a top-level tournament will be held Grand Chess Tour (3 July).
  • Location: The Radin Hotel (conference centre) and the Radenci student residence.
  • Price: €200 – includes: chess training sessions, an additional programme, and a small gift.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

Option 1 – SŠGT student accommodation €180

includes: 4 days full board, single room supplement: € 5 / night

Option 2 – Hotel Radin €260 (children up to 15 years old), €300 (adults)

includes: 4 days’ full board (lunch is served at the student residence)

Option 3 - Self-directed

Only applications that have been completed and paid for by 15 June 2026 will be considered.

Between 1 and 5 July Radenci will be transformed into a centre of chess, sport and fun. Under the guidance of renowned coaches Gary Kasparov Foundation and European Chess Academies participants will gain new knowledge, build friendships and enjoy a rich accompanying programme.
